Background:
Started out in July of 2022, The Protagonist continues to
present the dark and
desolate reflections of my past. These memories are recalled
and replayed from
a depressed state of mind. In this darkness lies the trace
of a semi-recognisable
melody, a source of hope in this dark and digital landscape
of ambient sounds.

"Recollections from the tormented town" is the last release
by The Protagonist.
Unlike the previous audio mix, this one highlights the
unreleased memories and
the abandoned moments from throughout the year. This mix is
a perfect way to
represent the things that haven't made the cut. The memories
that we left way
back home. And returning back to those memories years after
your journey
has ended, it brings a sense of comfort and longing. No one
else is here to
take care of the house. No one remains in the desolate,
tormented town.
So tonight, let's raise our drinks for another tomorrow. The
story might
have ended here, but it's certainly not the end for The
Protagonist.
